Anson Orthopaedic & Sports Physiotherapy Clinic is run by a team of highly qualified professionals. We all work hard to serve you and meet your needs. We would like to introduce you to our team:

Lori Dalin

Lisa ColemanLori graduated with her Kinesiology degree from SFU and then went on to UBC to complete her physical therapy degree, graduating in 1993.   She worked in the hospital for a few years and then ran a work conditioning program for several more before coming to Anson Physiotherapy Clinic in 1999.   She bought the clinic in 2002 and has enjoyed seeing the clinic grow and evolve.   She has completed her level 3 orthopaedic courses along with many other post graduate courses.   She focuses on manual therapy, individualized exercise programs and therapeutic taping.  She recently took her low intensity light therapy (LILT) course since the clinic now has this modality as an option. 

In 2007 she traveled to Los Angeles to learn a healing technique called Reconnective Healing that she also offers as an alternative treatment.   She is excited to embrace other healing modalities in this time of expansion. Lori has been an avid fitness leader since 1984 and presently teaches at Fitness New West both Step and Hi/Low classes.   Her personal interests, meditation and conscious awareness, are often featured in the clinic newsletter.   She is married with two active teenagers, and two lovely bunnies.  She is also the volunteer physiotherapist for the Vancouver All Stars Co-Ed level 4  team which her daughter is on. 

Linda Forrester

Lisa ColemanLinda Forrester is our clinic manager and is also certified in Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT). Linda came with a health care and IT background to Anson Physiotherapy.

In her spare time she enjoys caving, hiking, biking, yoga, snowshoeing and baking.

 

 

 

Mhairi Karklin

Lisa ColemanMhairi ('mar~ee') graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2006, and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2007. Mhairi has also taken her acupuncture exams and offers this as an option in her treatments. Mhairi's clinical experience includes inpatient physiotherapy in the hospital, long term residential care and outpatient orthopaedics in a variety of settings. Having competed as a member of the Queen's University track and field team and in various basketball, volleyball and dragonboat tournaments, Mhairi has a strong interest in sports and sports-related injuries. She is also currently pursuing further post graduate training in manual therapy and other specialized training. In her spare time, Mhairi can be found enjoying a hike or bike ride on a local trail, spending time with family, playing the piano, swimming at the beach and camping. She is looks forward to helping her patients reach their optimal physical and functional goals.

Linda Nickel

Lisa ColemanLinda has worked in the medical field for over a decade. She rejoined our team in December 2008 after taking care of family business. She is happily married, has a lovely daughter and two high octane grandchildren. She really enjoys her busy life and when she does get to relax, you will find her nose in a book and her hand in the cookie jar.

 

Trish Stevens

Lisa ColemanTrish Stevens graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1977. She began her career in Vernon before moving to the Lower Mainland for wider educational opportunities.

In June of 2003 Trish joined the Anson team. In addition to treating orthopedic and sports injuries, Trish brings with her a focus on areas such as TMD (jaw dysfunction), posture, muscle imbalances, Cranio Sacral, Visceral Manipulation, chronic pain and pain management strategies for her patients.

Trish also finds time to run, do yoga, garden and read.
